To The Celtics,
As your team photographer, I've been lucky enough to be right there with you for most games this season. I've been able to watch your hard work starting back in the summer as you grew as a team game after game through the regular season, winning your way through the playoffs and earning an opportunity to play for a state championship - something most players go their entire career without being able to say for themselves.
Unfortunately, the championship game didn’t go the way we had all hoped. It’s tough to lose a game, and I can only imagine how tough this one must have been. It definitely wasn't easy to keep shooting when I know a camera was the last thing you wanted to see at that moment. And I know it's easy to sit back and think about all the what-ifs and missed opportunities... but I want all of you to know that you should all be so proud of yourselves. You had an outstanding season
To all of the seniors, it's been great working with you over the last few years and clearly this team is losing a huge chunk of talent and leadership. Best of luck to all of you in whatever you decide to do after high school.
And to the returning players, use this game as motivation to push yourself and become an even better as a team. You have the opportunity to accomplish even more next season. While the team will lose a lot from this senior class, there's a lot of talent left on the roster. It will be fun to see who steps up starting in spring ball and in to next summer as the new leaders of the team.
Thanks again for putting up with my camera in your faces all season long and I can't wait to see what's next.
