A couple of weeks ago, I made a trip back up to the studio to get my West Virginia and Ohio seniors photographed during peak season with those autumn leaves and I gotta say, they were all READY for it!
I, on the other hand, am not sure I can say I was as prepared for the drastic change in temperature as I thought I should be. When I left Florida on a Saturday, it was 90º and sunny... by the time Tuesday rolled around, I was on day 3 of shooting in WV and it was spitting snow on poor Wes at 34º while he was rocking his cross country uniform, which does pretty much NOTHING to helping that kinda cold. For some of the other shoots during that trip, we avoided snow but they had to tough out that wind and cold air combo.
Even though the temperature had seemed to blow straight past fall and straight to winter, we got some great stuff. When I had been in WV before, it was August and still muggy and humid, so it was a bit of an adjustment.
Enough about the weather... here are some quick favorites from summer and fall. Studio shoots are next up and then it's going to be time for the class of 2024 to get on the schedule!
